It's just as the title says - the Honest Bookclub is hosting a giveaway of a copy of Sarah J. Maas's highly anticipated Queen of Shadows - the fourth installment in the Throne of Glass series! We know how torturous it is to not be able to get a copy of a book in a series you're dying to read, and everyone's talking about its epicness online. So, we want to share the Celaena love. We want to give away a copy to a fellow Throne of Glass-er and bring you the next installment in the series!
We are based in the UK, so the copy in question will be the UK paperback edition (pictured below). It has been downright impossible to choose a favorite edition of this book since the cover change early into the series, and we won't try. But we are, naturally, biased towards our own editions, and we're delighted to be able to ship this one somewhere into the world.
About the book:
Sarah J. Maas's New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series reaches new heights in this sweeping fourth volume.
Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past . . .
She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.
Celaena’s epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena’s story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world

DeleteI've only read up to Crown of Midnight, which I enjoyed more than Throne of Glass. But I suspect each new book I read from her will become the new favourite.
ReplyDeleteI read A Court of Thorns and Roses recently and it is marvellous!
ReplyDeleteWould love to WIN
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity!!!!!! The need for QoS is strong in this one.
ReplyDeleteFavorite book, this is.. impossible. I might say a court of thorns and roses simply because it's too hard to pick one out of the tog series. I love acotar because of the gorgeous world building and beautiful character development. And of course the mystery around a /certain/ character (cough rhysand)
DeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeleteI loved Throne of Glass. I was addicted. I was on the edge of my seat. I was laughing like a lunatic at the dialogue. It was both a blessing and a curse, since I had to force myself to have ten minute breaks as I had learnt the hard way that noodles and reading don't mix. However I did manage to sneak it into the bathroom. I LOVE Celaena and am worried that I am developing a fictional crush. Her snarky, cocky attitude is just laugh out loud-funny. She is truly my favourite bad ass, since she is not as cold and boring as the rest. I really want the new book, thank you for the opportunity 😄😄😄!!!
ReplyDeleteMy friend has been bothering me to read this series, and I've finally spent the past week reading all of them- and I'm hooked. It's why I took so long to finally give in... I was afraid of having another obsession. But here we are.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book was definitely Heir of Fire! Especially Rowan and Aelin's part of the story. I love their relationship so much and hope to see more of it in the next book.
Ahh! Super excited to read this book! My favorite is definitely Heir of Fire. ACOTAR was okay for me, though I hate where the romance is heading. I didn't like Throne of Glass or Crown of Midnight, but I really enjoyed Heir of Fire. So, Heir of Fire! I LOVE Rowan, but not as a love interest, just as a hawt elf dude! ;D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the giveaway! <3
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Hey :) Thank you for the chance to win this book. I live in Hungary, and here Heir of Fire is not published yet, so my favourite Maas book is Crown of Midnight so far :)
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely hard to choose between the three currently released books, but I'd have to say my favourite would be Heir of Fire. Just finding out Manon's story, Sorscha and Dorian's side of things, and Celaena and Rowan's - it was just so nice to see all the different points of view and events happening at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI'm ashamed I haven't read any yet, but I'm logging onto amazon to check hr out right now!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love ACOTAR- it was so captivating and had great worldbuilding.
ReplyDeleteWay to hard to pick a favorite! I started with a court of thorns and roses and I was in such a book hang over after ! Ugh I wanted more so bad!!!
ReplyDeleteHeir of Fire because Celaena began to reclaim her true identity and see herself as Aelin.
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard to pick only one as I love this series so much. Thank you for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteHEIR OF FIRE ALL THE WAYY!! <3 Rowan! Series just keeps getting better =)
ReplyDeleteHeir of Fire! I loved the high fantasy and seeing Celaena transform into Aelin.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet read any, but I am planning to soon! They are my next reads!
ReplyDeleteI have not yet read any, but I am planning to soon! They are my next reads!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this Epic Giveaway Fireheart!
ReplyDeleteMy Favorite Sarah J Maas Book is Crown of Midnight but then heir of fire, i mean sequels always tend to be better than the first book and COM Delivered on so many levels!
The action the Romance and then along came HOF and i was just ADDJDFFHFDHGJHGHG ROWAAAN OMG OMGGGG YASSS ELENTIYA
I LOVE books about Assassins and then throw in a female assassin with spunk and humour and You win!
Hi! Thanks for the chance to win, I'm super excited about this!
ReplyDeleteI accidentally pasted the link to my Bloglovin' account instead of my username (Valentina), hope that's not a problem?
And oh, man, you're asking me what's my favourite Sarah J Maas book... It's like asking which child is my favourite. (I don't have children, though... hm... I need a better simile)
Anyway, I've read her Throne of Glass series (first 3 parts and the prequels) and the first of her A Court of Thorns and Roses. I love love love both of the series.
In ToG, my favourite is Crown of Midnight, because I ship Chaolena so much, my heart burst when the thing happens (but soon after it was ripped out because another thing happened...). I love Celaena because she really grew from the conceited girl in Throne of Glass to the badass assassin in Crown of Midnight and finally a badass future queen in Heir of Fire.
This year I also read A Court of Thorns and Roses and I was swept away. It was so different than ToG, but beautiful and intense all the same. Not to mention that Beauty and the Beast was my favourite fairytale / Disney movie.
Anyway, I'm off to make an Instagram account and follow you from there, too. I really want to read this book, by the Wyrd
*grabby hands*
Hi! Thanks for the giveaway! :D
ReplyDeleteI've read up to Crown of Midnight because the publisher in my country didn't continue with the rest of the series. So, I've been re-reading both of them in English and I haven't had the opportunity to read Heir of Fire yet.
Therefore, my favourite book is the second one, because Throne of Glass was great, but Crown of Midnight was amazing! I found more action and romance in this book and I could get to know my dear Celaena, Chaol and Dorian better. I hope the other books are even better. ^.^
Thank you for this opportunity
ReplyDeleteAnd my favourite book is Heir of Fire
DeleteI feel like my favorite book of her will always be Throne of Glass- the first one I ever read :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Sarah J Maas book is Heir of Fire because the ending hit me with so many feels and I just need my hands on the next book!
ReplyDeleteFavorite book is Throne of Glass! Mainly because of Dorian and Celena. OTP
ReplyDeleteCrown of Midnight I think, because it kept me on the edge of my seat!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I haven't read any of her books (*shameless cry) but I really wanted to! The hype is telling me to do so and I bet it's really badass! Thank you for this giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any yet
